ThornCreek Winery & Gardens

David Thorn runs a thriving winery and landscape design firm in Aurora Ohio. The existing facility required expansion and utility upgrades at the same time that David was rebranding his companies.

David Thorn, Michael Catio AIA, and Matthew Wolf Architect (Architect-of-Record) collaborated to convert a temporary tented structure into a 1,000 sf conditioned additional dining area, added a new ADA entry / bathrooms (536 sf), and new bar & wine storage area (420 sf).

David and Michael lead the façade and interior design lending the building a quaint rural typology. Matthew Wolf Architecture secured ARB approval, oversaw engineering / permitting of the building additions, new sanitary, water, fire suppression utilities and EPA-compliant site drainage.
